Terms of Service
Effective June 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FireSheet (the "Service"), operated by FireSheet ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What FireSheet is
FireSheet is a personal portfolio dashboard for the FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) audience. It pulls balances and positions from brokerages and wallets you connect, computes a net worth and a projected freedom date, and lets you track allocation and budget.
FireSheet is not financial advice. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or tax professional. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or asset. All projections (including your "freedom date") are estimates based on assumptions you can review and change — they are not guarantees of future returns.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use FireSheet. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe, for keeping your contact email current, and for every action taken under your account. Notify us at hello@getfiresheet.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Read-only data access
Brokerage and wallet integrations use read-only API keys or public addresses you provide. FireSheet can see balances and positions; it cannot trade, transfer, withdraw, or sign transactions on your behalf. Keys are encrypted at rest. You can revoke them at your broker or delete them in FireSheet at any time. We are not responsible for actions taken by a third party who obtains your keys outside our Service.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
FireSheet Pro is a paid subscription billed by Stripe. New customers receive a free trial as stated on the pricing page; we charge your payment method at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. Subscriptions auto-renew for the same period until cancelled.
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing or via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; we don't provide prorated refunds for partial periods unless required by law. Prices and features may change; we'll notify you by email before any change affects an active subscription.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to access accounts, data, or connections that don't belong to you;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service or its underlying data feeds;
- upload credentials, keys, or content you don't have the right to use;
- use FireSheet to facilitate market manipulation, tax fraud, or other unlawful activity;
- interfere with the Service, including by sending excessive automated traffic.
6. Your data and content
You retain ownership of data you bring into FireSheet (manual holdings, notes, imported spreadsheets, etc.). You grant us a limited license to process that data for the purpose of operating the Service for you. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party data
Prices, exchange rates, and brokerage data come from third-party providers. We pass that data through as we receive it; we don't guarantee it's accurate, complete, or up to date. If a broker, wallet provider, or data feed is unavailable, parts of the Service may show stale or missing data.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee that FireSheet will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance and emergency fixes can happen without notice.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FireSheet will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, investment returns, data, or goodwill, even if we've been advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately before the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold FireSheet harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Termination
You can stop using FireSheet at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or pose a security or legal risk. On termination, your license to use the Service ends; portions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Effective" date above and, for material changes, give you notice (e.g., by email or an in-app banner) before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FireSheet operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
